My philosophy has been sculpted by the cities and towns I've lived in. As someone who has also been reshaped by these places, I am a believer in the power of the lived experience, and in the value and potential in every place. As someone who has lived in over 15 cities in the US and abroad, and worked in hundreds, I have come to view the theory of place making through the lens of untapped potential. I believe that Historic Preservation is strongest when coupled with development, as a practice that champions sustainability and methods that ensure the bridged connection between past and future by action in the present. I have experience in both the public and private sectors, as a project manager, author, designer, developer, craftsman, and enthusiastic seeker of better outcomes for every property, neighborhood, and community.
